Anyone notice how the numbers aren't in order beyond 690+

Re: Card numbers missing
Yeah, it's been that way for ages. Way back when they had about 600 cards they skipped out on some numbers and filled them in later on.
Re: Card numbers missing
Do you think it might be setting a limit?
Like they dont wana make more then 988 cards? Nah thats too weird of a number...
Maby they wanted to give us a larger scope of just how many cards they will eventually make...
Or maby they just want stupid people not to knotice and think theres auctually 988 cards there! XD Jus' kiddn'.

Re: Card numbers missing
But at the same time 988..Its kinda weird number. And if they are simply makeing the cards for fun then why set a limit?
If there was a limit they would probally set it at 1000, but I don't honistly think they are. Just shareing some ideas and seeing where people might run with them. =)

Well they can't please everyone. Maybe in counting that's how many they are making at the moment and want to stop there.
Re: Card numbers missing
I suppose its a possibality but I'm not entirely convinced. Maby theres no stock in the numbers at all.. *shrug* But if there wasent then why skip in the first place.
They shure are good at makeing us have ta think. Lol

Re: Card numbers missing
Well its better then just waiting around.
What we really should be thinking off is the pattern of the cards, like the significance of the letters

Someone allready posted my idea but let me repost it and expand on it beceause I think it was in the chat box. I'm preety shure its how likely it is that they will be remade into the game. Not to say that C characters won't be put in tho. And heres why I think this: it might have orignally been a reminder for Ork and Auhron to revisit those C cards beceause they needed work. C could mean that that peticular card didn't meet their own set standards and they wanted to remind themselves to give it another go later.
A and B cards probally have some of the best top work put into them allready, and sence it was easy for them to make the first time around, its easy to make fighting sprites for them, beceause they need no addational tinkering before they start makeing the poses..

Could be...
But given how many cards they are working on, it could be a while before they re-edit those they think might not be up to par.
Here's a theory as well;
A top priority, the makers want those playable the most
B considering, the makers might make them playable
C deciding/determining; whether or not they should be playble or not
Differences are between B and C;
Conserding, you have more of a chance with B cards ending up playable than C cards
C cards could go either way
Only think this for 1 reason, personal preference. Everyone has their own personal choice about things.
Re: Card numbers missing
Well I'd agree with you on that if a game was their goal the whole time, but I thought before the game they simply made cards.

Re: Card numbers missing
There are so much exemples against the "probability of inclusion" theory, it's not even fun.
Or else, they were pretty drunk when doing some of those ratings.
I think that a piece of paper in a file would be much handier than this to remember their rating. It would be far more simple than put this huge, ugly, obvious letter on each card, from the launch of their site to the launch of the game.
To me, it's just the characters/sprites (a bit of the two) that they personnally like.

Re: Card numbers missing
I still stick with my idea that the lower level cards are cards they want to revisit for work. It seems to work right? I mean You cant get much better on that Ozzie sprite, nor that Mr. Saturn. White Mage cant get much better eaither. Wheresas the C cards LOOK good but not AS good as some of their other cards.
Re: Card numbers missing
She sure is. Honestly I think they just put those letters there randomly just for variety since there sapose to be cards of some sort, just to mimmick some kind of value system.
