Ahhh I see.....

Not really original work but I found this on some guys Pixel Art and edited it to look like me for an Avatar.

Heres another Avatar I made. Used different sprites of Axel from Streets Of Rage and edited in the t-shirt, chain,Nike checks on the shoes and earings to look my me. Used this as an Avatar for the Streets Of Rage Remake forum.


Cant really make my own sprites or anyhting but I can edit pretty good.

Like I said before I cant really make my own sprites but I pretty good at editing.

Edited Livare (who Im guessing is an original sprite) to look like me for my Avatar on my Custom Guitar Hero page on Scorehero.com
Also made a title for my page with all my customs on it. I enlarged it, changed the Brown hair to Blonde and shortened the back of the hair, gave him a White T-Shirt, White shoes, Blue eyes and a Black Guitar. And what I really liked is the guitar hes holding looks exactly like the Jackson - Rhandy Rhoades Im buying this summer!

Me too! Although, I seldom do that. One time, I did some edits of Fat Guy sprites from SMW2:Yoshi's Island that I found on the net. I'll post those later.

Sounds good! If you look up a bit you can see another edit I did from an original card in the CSW gallery to look like me. I really like that one.

As you can see, the Fat Snifit and the Cook Guy are my own variations on the Fat guy subspecies of Shy Guys.

Note:these are edited from Fat guy and Snifit sprites that I found on the Shy Guy Kingdom and the Spriters Resource, which were originally ripped by Tonberry2k, for the latter site.

Been working on a CSW styled idle sprite for myself. I started it like 3 weeks ago and kinda abandoned it. =/

Might pick it up again and repost it here.

Also I don't want to be mean but recolors are only the first part of editing. To practice spriteing/pixal art try makeing subtile changes in the clotheing and stance untill it seems to fit. Don't be afraid of axedentally messing up, just always keep a backup. Also sometimes when you first start editing it may look shitty but keep at it. Before it was a delicious omlette the lowly egg was merely a pile of goo in a shell.

BTW im getting kicked off soon, I have to share 1 comuter with 4 other ppl its hectic.

I'm not refering to one person in general, but alot of people concider them selves great editers by just recoloring. I can finish an entire sheets recolor job in maby 2 minutes.

If you wana be a really great sprite artist you have to be able to do physical edits, not just changeing some colors. Its a start though.

Well I dont think im a great sprite editor which is pretty much why I only edit colours and slight detail. Im pretty artistic and probley could do nice edits but its not exactly something I really care for so I dont bother.

I used to sprite big time, and Flash artists who use sprites look to me to do their work sometimes, but I really like tradational pen and paper, and the occasional drawing on the compy with my mouse. *Not sprites, I use Flash XD
